1 in 3 airline pilots will experience 90 days or more of disability at some point during their career! (Disability Insurance Statistics Bank)

Luckily, most airlines have good disability benefits available to help provide some relief and income. However, it doesn’t mean 100% of your income will be replaced if something happens. In most circumstances, even if you are able to pay bills and put food on the table, many people will NOT be able to continue saving for retirement once disabled without extra disability insurance.

In part 3 of our estate planning series, "I'm Dead Now What", we are talking about the biggest risk that pilots face - Airline Pilot Disability.

Let’s make sure you are protected and know what to expect if something were to happen to you!
